    And what is a Northern Novice? I will perhaps concede that it's a great Northern record. In reality, it has very little to do with soul music - unless of course you're a Soul Novice.

    The 2004 UK release on Real Side is deemed acceptable to play out as it is the only release. Notwithstanding that I should be ok spinning in at home anyway!

    Not ever so knowledgeable about the Impressions so hard to pick a favourite. They are awesome though - and Curtis has one of the coolest voices/dialects ever. He the man - or was. Great stuff. Peter
