  1. No. And eating fish and chips - well eating anything, back in the day would not have gone down too well with me. Peter
  2. You haven't stated the price Don. Peter
  3. As the young uns might say - well cool.
  4. Cheers Steve. Was certain about Larry and if the niters finished in 77 then Eddie wasn't played there either. I had Richard or Sam down for playing Eddie H first but could well be wrong.
  5. Old Father Time Ah reet Steve.
  6. No worries mate. I'm playing that first podcast now - just into Peabo Bryson, Why Don't You Make Up Your Mind. Great stuff.
  7. Oops! Sorry. I'll pm you a link to the site. it's quite interesting. Peter
  8. Yep, Eddie may well have been played at Sams then. Interesting to know who played it first - Ian? There's a Martin who has a Clifton Hall web site - I thought his surname was Smith too, and therefore it was you! I'll check. Peter
  9. Hi Martin I thought Eddie was a 1980 release but just checked and it's 1977. Larry Houston was Richards Top Cat cover up and a first at Wigan. What year did Samantha's finish? I never went - my all niter career began in 1979! My favourite all niter was Clifton Hall. I've been on your site a few times - I assume you're that Martin? Peter
  10. Some of those aren't Samantha's spins - Larry Houston, Eddie Holman. Late Wigan, Clifton Hall.
  11. Really Brian? I suppose it's a little better than Cochise! All about opinions mate innit! Peter
  12. That being Philip Kinorra and not Steve.
  13. Hi Benji I thought that had already been discussed on SS - and that the individual(s) had been identified? I am a bit dim though and could be confusing that with a different set of boots.
  14. She's miming! What a disappointment.
  15. Nice hand writing!
  16. Another one that proves price doesn't always equal quality. Great record this - cheap as chips.
  17. A few here https://www.discogs.com/sell/release/4451332?ev=rb
  18. It is of interest to some.
  19. All ok here thanks Steve. I still miss my mum a great deal - probably 12 years since she passed away now. Funny, I can never get the year spot on in my mind. Always remember the day though - Boxing Day. I never really bother about driving distances - as long as your steed is reliable and good to go! My ten year old Megane 1.9 diesel is nice to drive and has been really reliable - bought it really cheap. It's the best car I've ever had - never been one for spending lots of money on cars. I suppose my silver, red upholstered, Ford Capri Ghia in the 80's was a close second! Just have to be vigilant for idiot drivers who have no regard for anyone's safety - including their own. Well, we have a mini heat wave forecast - at least till Thursday!
  20. Here Andy https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l1313&_nkw=Junior+McCants+-+Try+Me+For+Your+New+Love&_sacat=0
  21. Well spotted and well photographed Steve. A majestic little fellow - watching over your dads grave. I am sending you my best wishes from Nottingham. Peter
  22. I'm so sorry to receive such news. I knew Chrissie form SS - another lovely life has gone. My thoughts are with her family and friends. Peter
  23. Great stuff Martyn Was the male asleep in the box? Is that how the ringer managed to handle him? Peter
