  1. All ok here thanks Steve. I still miss my mum a great deal - probably 12 years since she passed away now. Funny, I can never get the year spot on in my mind. Always remember the day though - Boxing Day. I never really bother about driving distances - as long as your steed is reliable and good to go! My ten year old Megane 1.9 diesel is nice to drive and has been really reliable - bought it really cheap. It's the best car I've ever had - never been one for spending lots of money on cars. I suppose my silver, red upholstered, Ford Capri Ghia in the 80's was a close second! Just have to be vigilant for idiot drivers who have no regard for anyone's safety - including their own. Well, we have a mini heat wave forecast - at least till Thursday!
  2. Here Andy https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l1313&_nkw=Junior+McCants+-+Try+Me+For+Your+New+Love&_sacat=0
  3. Well spotted and well photographed Steve. A majestic little fellow - watching over your dads grave. I am sending you my best wishes from Nottingham. Peter
  4. I'm so sorry to receive such news. I knew Chrissie form SS - another lovely life has gone. My thoughts are with her family and friends. Peter
  5. Great stuff Martyn Was the male asleep in the box? Is that how the ringer managed to handle him? Peter
  6. I agree Ricky. I would say it goes for a lot more - one on Discogs for £500 - which is probably too high. Peter
  7. What's a big crossover tune? All very subjective methinks.
  8. Wow alert Steve! Such a great bird to see. Quite a few down the canal where I live - let you walk right past them, almost touching them, without being alarmed and flying off. Peter
  9. Hiya mate. Great list. Please can you not remove the prices once they have sold - it's really helpful to keep them on. Thanks Peter
  10. Well if what you are alluding to is correct then it's as has been said - someone with an axe to grind.
  11. Wilton Felder - Inherit The Wind. Unaccredited vocals from Bobby Womack and superb saxophone. Ave it.
  12. As Richard said - someone with an axe to grind - plenty of em out there. Shame.
  13. I'm going to put this on my top list of places to go Russell. It looks like real, unspoiled, traditional Greece. Thanks for the pictures. Peter
  14. One of those sublime records which epitomises "soul" music. Awesome. Nice one Sean. Hope all is well mate. Peter
  15. I'm afraid not Steve - I'm useless! I'll get there and in the meantime I can enjoy the wonderful contributions from yourself and all our other friends who post up their fantastic - often moving photographs. It was odd that we were both in Porthmadog last week - one of my rare forays out into the world. It would have been great to meet up. When I went to see the Ospreys at Bywyd Gwyllt Glaslyn Wildlife I got chatting to one of the vounteers - I mentioned it on my post the other night. Anyway, I thought I would mention the Peregrines we have in a Nottingham and he was quite scathing - sort of "mm common as muck"! It was quite funny. Sending you my best wishes Steve. Peter
  16. Lovely Russell Making me yearn for the Greek Islands - I haven;t been for years, Crete was the last one. Might have to come out of my reclusive lifestyle and take a trip. Peter
  17. LOL I'm such an arse! I don't even know what I know! Nice one John
