I never really bought any record so that I could kick and sit on it. I guess we all have our foibles.
I did once buy an expensive collectors car to cook my dinner on. For some reason it didn't work and the car caught fire. Fcuk, funny that.
Never heard that Mick. Nice one.
Just lacking a bit of "soul" depth on the vocal and backing. As you say might be better with a decent sound file.

I've never really been a die hard "northern" fan mate. Didn't like all the shitty pop stuff, instrumentals and hundred mile an hour shite. I like my music soulful. Of course lots of great soul music was and is still played on the "northern" scene. But yes things are different today. If that all makes sense.
Yep, it's no soul record for sure. But, its probably one of the best dance tracks that's ever been played on the northern scene. Still sounds great today and I suspect it still rams the floor. I think it's great.

Might get scolded for posting this.
I dont care! I've always loved this record since I began my personal journey into soul music. It's beautiful and so is the video in so many ways.
Never really got the Exus Trek - but then again I dont like instrumentals.
The vocal however is a thundering soul record. Great vocalist is Luther.

Nice one. You love scooters other people prefer records. Each to their own innit.
I have to say that I have had thoughts of buying a scooter this year. Probably part of my mid life crisis. I had a Lambretta 200 when I was fourteen. I think that's what it was - great nic too. We used to ride it on the beach and roads around Mablethorpe. Unlawful behaviour of course but we never got done!
It's a super soul record. Any soul collector/dj would like one of those............................................. surely. Well I would.
Do not call me Shirley!
