  1. How can anyone not like this? I love it - including the name Pookie. Such a cool name. Peter
  2. Just goes to show there's plenty of money about despite the poverty being driven by ongoing austerity. Not a dig at you Bruv. Nice cars and pics as usual. Pete
  3. Did you all know that modern day, all weather, lifeboats are powered by Rolls Royce engines? They are quality boats built to a very high standard, with all the latest kit.
  4. Oops sorry Chris! I thought that was a sale from a few months ago - must have read it wrong. Pete
  5. One went in sales recently - £550. Pete
  6. From memory a Mersey Class and a Trent Class - but could be wrong. Pete
  7. Nature at it's most amazing Steve. A tiny, ,beautiful, delicate little life but capable of wondrous feats. Very inspiring and humbling. Great pic again mate.
  8. One of my favourites Bruv. Put out a wants for this recently - on the vodka again!
  9. On that Sir, I beg to differ. From a punters/I know what I like perspective, I'm absolutely sold. I have seen your craft evolve and improve over the last few years and as a consequence we've all been treated to some fantastic personal experiences, captured for ever, by your skill. As effective as my daily 40mg of Citalopram! Keep on keeping on Steve. Pete Ps - my brother is going back to Aberdunant near Porthmadog (North Wales) tomorrow - I'm not able to go this year but Betsy his new rescue dog will have a first Welsh holiday.
  10. As my posh mate at works says "Bloody Hell" - only works with a public school boy accent! Nice one Steve. You're getting to the point where you should start advertising for photography work. Might be a nice little side line that contributes to keeping your kit up to date and helps pay for the annual jaunt to Pembroke. All the best mate. Pete
  11. Ha! The good old white label "test pressing". Load of bollox in lots of cases.
  12. Greed. Pure and simple. Pete
  13. Thanks Chris. I played this last night - it's awesome. Dave and Steve were bang at it! Pete
  14. Amazing Harry. Top man. Pete
  15. This probably fits Mike's Sunshine Pop category too. I danced to it back in the day and still like it - place and time and all that. Keith - Daylight Saving Time Cant find a link - all the vids on YouTube have been blocked. pete
  16. No worries mate. Loads of great output from the the Memphis based Hi stable. Willie Mitchell et all. There's a superb box set with an awesome track listing - more like a book. Well worth getting a copy - Ian Dewhurst had a few sealed copies for sale but getting hard to pick up at a decent price generally. Pete
  17. I'm not sure that anyone has been mean or personal? Just some honest views on what people thought. Im sure everyone is in awe of any performance given the age of some of these artists. Often it is as much about seeing them in person as the actual performance.
  18. One on discogs which I suspect you have seen. Don't know what it's worth so no idea whether that's a fair price. Pete
  19. Interesting Mike. Far better than lots of other poppy stuff and a good dancer though.
  20. Hi Dave yes the couple of instrumental breaks are it's weakpoints. Other than that it beats along quite nicely and wouldn't be one to go in the "white pop shit" dustbin. Pete
  21. Anyone mentioned this yet? Worthy of a place on any cd/podcast. Great dance track.
  22. I was a late comer to Van Morrison - he's great. I have mentioned his soulfulness on a few threads previously. He's recorded a few bits with Bobby M. pete
  23. Betsy with her new toy - not totally sure about it just yet! IMG_0331.MP4IMG_0331.MP4 oops- can't get that to work. Will try later.
