    How good is this vid - absolute magic. Loads of different artists have done this. My favourite Nina Simone is just top trumped by this video masterpiece. Sammy Davis Junior - Mr Bojangles. Beautiful.

    Not read the whole thread so apologies if this has been posted already. Absolute class Philly Soul from the great, late Teddy Pendergrass. One of the first albums I ever bought and one of my favourites.

    I'm pretty sure the yellow was first. If nothing else it's based on the fact that I'm always last to get a record and mine is orange! p

    Ay up Chalky! I think the yellow press is dated 1979 and the orange as 1980. I've got the orange one which I think I got from John at Soul Bowl. Always liked the lyrics. All the best mate. Pete

    First and second press of this. 1st is yellow 2nd orange. Plenty about and I would say £40 - but that’s a guess. Who knows in today’s market! Big spin in the early 80’s. Nice record. Pete

    Its a stunning record isn't it Baz. One of those down tempo things that actually pumps up the tempo - if that makes sense. It does to me anyway - all to do with getting that half and one third of a beat. Pleased you liked the sort recommendation mate. Pete
