Small Car Wanted
Sounds like you could be sorted now Ken. I've just sold a great little car - a nice looking silver, old shape renault clio. It was immac for the year - and diesel. Super little car - I'd have let you have that cheap. I'm sure you'll be ok with yer fiat.

What's The Story
I don't care! I think the HSJ was pink too from memory - highly irrelevant, but I think it was.

What's The Story
Top man Pete - it was Holly St James! I know a lot of people think this is fooking shite! I still like it. Now, what did I do with that record.

What's The Story
This is slightly off topic - and perhaps a little tedious, but................... For some reason I can't get Mr Fox from the label out of my head - because I had some boot or other on this "label". Seem to recall it was a big, big record at the time - but can't think what it was?

Soul What Is Your Prefered Genre
Good thread Bearsy - Ouch! I began my soul career like most - initiated with the 60's sounds - you mention the Salvadors - what a classy tune. I like good soul music. I still like the oldies but these days prefer seventies and anything up to new release stuff. The best era musically - in terms of what was being played, for me was 1977 - 1984. Richard Searling at the Casion was awesome - his new sixties and modern were phenomenal. 1979 and the oldies/newies debate - I went along with Sam, Arthur, Poke etc. Having said this I like all sorts.

- Just Into It ?
Yes - throw in some fondue and we're onto a winner!- Just Into It ?
The fifties! I'm a very young soul boy then - I'm a sixties child.- Anyone Seen This?
What do you mean - sooner have?- Patrice Rushen
That's interesting mate - I remember hearing this somewhere but didn't think it was Clifton Hall - I'm sure you're right though. Any ideas as to who spun it there?- Lost In The World Of A Dream
I'm gonna did my copy out tonight, dust it down and play it. All I can remember about the record is that it's white! Mind you - given my DIY accident when removing the chimney breast recently it may well be black. Any serious offers for a very rare, black, one off pm me!- Lost In The World Of A Dream
I like this record a lot - very atmospheric. It's one of those sounds that takes me right back to the late seventies. I think I have a copy too - but seem to think mine is on a white label? I'm sure mine is a boot.- Records Ready For A Second Go On The Scene
Greater Experience - Don't Forget to Remember Just seen that on another thread and it reminded me!- Jerusalem
I've been playing a mini disk - better known as a CD - does that count? Anyway I've had Curtis Mayfield's Super Fly album on - big big anti drugs album. Includes Pusherman and Freddies Dead etc.- 45' Centers
