  1. Have you seen the chaos this lot created in Mikes thread Harry? Trying to teach them lot the rules was like, err, well, trying to teach erm. It was difficult. This second game could send us into melt down. I'll have Atco. peter
  2. That would be more than three hours Sean. It's a right complicated game this - we might have to make it a bit simpler!
  3. That bloody Ken! He's a lot to answer for that young man!
  4. Don't hold your breath Mike - this lot just don't get it!
  5. The fookin rules say we are on one letter for about three hours We're now almost on D - and we only started about an hour ago. I want to have a go but haven't got time cos I'm trying to teach you fookin lot the rules!
  6. You mean you nearly fookin get it! We're still on A! and will be for the duration of approximately three hours! I suppose we may as well move to B now!
  7. Bloody hell! So Function in the Junction (short) can be purchased then? I'll go and google it. Thanks
  8. I can't believe no one has mentioned that rogue Peter Smith yet. He abuses everything modern - and smashes records up. Having said that, and to be fair to him, his abuse is normally directed at the records themselves. Cue Mr Smith to tell me to fook off!
  9. That's a bit clearer then. So the shorty then - is that the one with Steve Cato on the train?
  10. I'm confused. As I'm a bit simple can someone just bullet point what films are planned - it sounds like three? And what is the tv short featuring the bloke on speed?
  11. I would say about four hundred quid - but I'm not an expert. Cracking tune.
  12. I'm not sure if I recognise this. As an old Cleethorpes/Bradford spin I ought to. Anyone got a sound clip please? Peter
  13. I'm not sure if I know enough records that came out on the label to comment. The Montclairs is quality though. Can be a tricky little number to dance to - particularly these days!
  14. It could be of course that my memory is in perfect working order. It might be that I just didn't have a clue who did the song, when etc. I just can't remember!
  15. Ah, thanks Sean! My memory must be shot to pieces - Jr is obviously the version that got me hooked - and is the best of the bunch. So my question has been answered to a great degree. Some quite interesting comments - Ian's comment about it perhaps being too poppy to have been played at the Wheel is a good example. I guess it shows how much things have changed. The Wheel was a bit before my time so I can't comment on those days. From where I'm sitting though - and obviously from the first time I heard it - this is a wicked piece of soul music - absolutely stunning. Some of the covers are top notch too. It's hard to fathom out why I couldn't pin point - or remember the Jr Walker? I've obviously shot it! Thanks everyone. Peter
  16. Thanks everyone - that should keep me busy for a while. Tra, la, la, la,la.
