    Yes that was my understanding Martyn. He sold one and then bought another from an Italian dealer to play at the last Cleethorpes all dayer. I seem to recall that he bought his old copy back from the person he sold it to - but I might just be embroidering it a bit!

    Great toon - Sam Williams probably edges it for me personally. I do like Towanda Barnes - there's a sort of messy, raw edge to her stuff which is very appealing.

    I agree Jason. Chalky has put together a piece of real musical and social history - something well worth recording. Absolutely great stuff - and must have taken a great deal of effort and time. I've already saluted the man - but thanks again Chalky. Peter

    An old Dave Thorley spin - picked up from one of Chalky's Stafford podcasts - cos I would never have remembered it: Debby Dobbins - nice. Love the vocals on this - and the sax break too.
