  1. I'm off out for a bit. Swifty's Betty Lavette is my record of the day - just played it again. It's stunning.
  2. Ms Lavette. Just superb Swifty - can't she sing. Love it.
  3. Great choice - never knew the name of this!
  4. Just jumped on Swifty's Debbie Taylor and found this - never heard it before. Fooking stunning - with some great sax too! So this one is for Swifty.
  5. A bit of sleazy stuff...............
  6. Just for you Julie. Another well known 70's track - cheap as chips but still sounds stunning. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KgJCZgG3Ziw
  7. An early 70's spin next. Whoooo, whoooooo!
  8. Major Harris Beautiful bit of mid tempo stuff. Can feel a shuffle coming on. Nice one Swifty.
  9. Love or hate this - we need some sunshine though and there's nowt wrong with a bit of blue eyed soul. I like it anyway.
  10. Hi Julie Do join in - it's great just to see and hear everyone's choices!
  11. Great stuff Matt. Thanks
  12. Would have been even better if she hadn't of sang "Larst Summer, Larst Summer Love!. It's last - like cast!
  13. My afternoon offering - Bill Wright. Oozing soul. Peter
  14. Nice one Andy. I've always liked this happy go lucky number!
  15. Melancholy evergreen stunner from the great man himself. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cx2jDWpD6fM Just posting up some favourites I guess.
  16. Don't get all the lyrics on this but I like it. Had it first on a tape from me old mate Gavin Page - must of been a while ago on cassette!
  17. Fookin hell mate - you've gone all small!
  18. Probably better in "wants" than "sales" mate
  19. That is sad but probably true and kind of perverse too. We often like to proclaim ourselves or our scene as being the champions of the under rated or the never quite made it guys - and girls of course.
  20. Mark I could me miles off here - but a Richard Dimples Fields track is coming to mind - I Like You're loving or something maybe? Mm, not that track maybe - but there is something similar in the vocals of Smokey and Mr Dimples on this track.
