  7. I see what you're saying. But, here we go again! There's still a live thread running about this and numerous closed ones.
  8. Brilliant Steve I love the photo entitled "Dancing to a jukebox in Chicago, 1962" Talk about a picture painting a thousand words.
  9. Cheers mate I thought so. Not seen my copy for years and I'm pretty sure it's not on ABC.
  10. Mm nice tune. I still like this. Hope you get sorted. Does anyone know if this was booted - got one somewhere but reckon it's a boot. If hasn't I'll dig it out - it's buried somewhere and it aint' worth the hunt if it's a boot.
  11. That is pretty damn good! Don't think I've heard of em before - so thanks. Peter
  12. Hello. You can start a new thread and post em up there mate. We can all have a debate then. Welcome to SS.

  14. Prefer this side Andy. Nice label design too. Peter
  15. Of course - how silly of me! I think I had worked that out in my head once.
  16. That is an interesting point though Bob. I still pick up stuff and look at what's in the run out groove and think that's not s stamp it's scratched in by hand - and some of it obviously is. So, this might be an even more stupid question - but did pressing plants have people sat there scratching numbers etc in by hand? Must have been a bit resource intensive.
  17. From the anoraks site Bob https://www.anorakscorner.com/PressingPlantInfo.html
  18. It's not a patch on what I would expect. I'll get me coat now.
  19. It's a bit messy mate! It's certainly different but not my cup of tea.
  20. Hi Nev I presume they are the same band - just been doing a bit of research. They are - were, a jamaican trio originally playing reggae. They teamed up with Eddy Grany in the 70's and put out some soul music including My Friend James. They have broken up and reformed on a number of occasions. Yes send me the details of the album Nev. Thanks Peter
  21. I don't get out much these days Brett!
