  1. This is nice mate. Got to follow it with another. Seem to recall that Mr Hampsey might have re-hammered this at Clifton Hall or Cleethorpes Winter Gardens - but could be wrong.
  2. Ah, I didn't say it wasn't sought after. There were lots of terrible things around at the time.
  3. That Don Varner record was orrible - it still is.
  4. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ceKmWak1F8
  5. Nice one Andy. The quite very under rated Mr Perry. He's done lots of stuff which just oozes soul. Come on Down is probably too well known to post up but i'm gonna do it anyway cos i love it. Peter
  6. Clap your hands man! Great stuff Gogger. Peter
  7. Bargain! Nice one Andy. Always liked this - got it on something somewhere. A cd mix one from someone I think. Peter
  8. Been away for a week so need to catch up. Great one to come back to - nice one Gaz. Love this.
  9. Hi mate. Lots of nice tunes on this mix - could I have a free download link please? Thanks Peter
  10. Nice one Martyn. Not sure where you boys keep finding em! This reminds me of something else - a well known thing, but can't think what.
  11. Prompted by soulatthedales earlier posting I couldn't help post this one. It's full of summer and pretty lyrics. Chairmen of the Board's Everything is Tuesday
  12. I'm not sure I've heard this before - just listened to it. Stunning piece of mid tempo soul. Thanks for that buddy. Peter
  13. Another album track - definitely a Sam spin this one. Webster Lewis - Let me be the One. Only remembered this a few years ago and got the album from Soul Brothers - I think. Peter
  14. Another LP gospel inspired track from me - Donn Thomas. How Can i Help But Love You. This had a few spins in the early 80's - can't think who? Richard or Sam maybe - might have been Arthur.
  15. I still don't get why you quoted my post where I stated that I liked the Al Wilson track which Stevie and posed the question as to whether as an artist he was underrated.
