  1. You're probably right Martyn - I did give it a bit of a health warning! I was going through some old suff at home - all damp sleeves and mucky ( ) and came accross a couple of bits by Jimmy and that prompted me. I think the one Pat B spun at Clifton Hall may have been If you don't Want my Love on Alston.
  2. Best stuff I've listened to for ages. Brilliant. Must have been a great do. Cheers Peter
  3. Tats and Bully Awesome first set - loved everyone! Cheers Peter
  4. Just listening now. Starting off with Tats and Bully. The first Sam Dees track is fecking stunning! Thanks for posting. Peter
  5. Bit well know this but well worth an airing. Jimmy Bo Horne - I just Can't Speak. Was this a Pat B Clifton Hall spin? Seem to recall it was but might be confusing it. Peter
  6. Hi Steve I wouldn't have remembered the track by name - real name or cover up. In fact I had to edit my post yesterday as I had originally asked for a sound clip and then found that single post on You Tube. I'm pretty certain that I only heard this at Cleethorpes (all dayers) and haven't heard it since. I think it was Sam who would have purchased it from Richard by that time. By all accounts it's a toughy and looks like your copy is in nice nick. Coincidentally, I started a thread about old memories the other night - mentioned the soul nites I used to run at the Eagle Hotel at Mablethorpe. Do you remember guesting for us on a few occasions? I hope you're keeping well. Good to hear from you buddy. Peter

  8. Just sneak this one in - absolute class. Najee - So Hard to Let Go (Janice Dempsey on vocals) Peter
  9. That's another new one on me and I like it. It's not very long! Peter
  10. Interesting thread. I reckon it was after 1978 - only maybe by a year. Could be wrong though - it was a long time ago. Just checked it out on Youtube - remember it well.
  11. One from me this morning - had a few on my mind but plumped for this. Marc Sadane - One minute from Love Had a short shelf life early 80's. Peter
  12. They're both good Andy. I'll be boring and go with Willie Clayton - boring cos it's the fact that I know more about him which tips it. As you say you couldn't really put a fag paper between em. Great start to the day. Peter
  13. I wouldn't mince around mate - Smiffy's offered to do em for you. Just get the lad a drink and you'll be sorted.
  14. How very posh Mr Rounce.
  15. Yep, nice one Mick.
  16. I might watch this tonight on catch up. Sounds like it might be a little better than the f**** ****** shite ********* ****** godamn ******* rubbish that's been on for the last few nights. Peter
  17. A melancholy album cut from the master Bobby Womack - just suits the rubbish Bank Holiday weather. From his So Many Rivers set "Only Survivor". Peter
  18. Sorry Chalky. Like I said I'll not post on this thread again.
  19. There were no upper case letters in my post - you're making it up. I won't bother posting on this thread again. :sleep3:
