  1. Thanks John I'll be stoned if I manage to download and burn it to cd! I'll get one of the younger lot at work to help me. Thanks again. Peter
  2. I understand that this album was reissued on vinyl only at some point. Does anyone know whether there has been a subsequent cd release - and if so has anyone got one for sale? I don't really collect vinyl anymore as I don't look after it properly. Thanks Peter
  3. Mm just checked again - the 8.45 Saturday set and it still says it ain't there?
  4. Thanks Jason I'll retry. There's awesome fecking soul in them there podcasts! Peter
  5. Hi buddy Just going back in for a secpnd helping but some of the podcasts aren't there - looking specifically for Neil Forbes set at the minute. It says it isn't on the server? Thanks Peter
  6. Kick my ass more like! I've got some decent stuff hidden away and it's wasting away in terms of condition.
  7. You're probably right Martyn - I did give it a bit of a health warning! I was going through some old suff at home - all damp sleeves and mucky ( ) and came accross a couple of bits by Jimmy and that prompted me. I think the one Pat B spun at Clifton Hall may have been If you don't Want my Love on Alston.
  8. Best stuff I've listened to for ages. Brilliant. Must have been a great do. Cheers Peter
  9. Tats and Bully Awesome first set - loved everyone! Cheers Peter
  10. Just listening now. Starting off with Tats and Bully. The first Sam Dees track is fecking stunning! Thanks for posting. Peter
  11. Bit well know this but well worth an airing. Jimmy Bo Horne - I just Can't Speak. Was this a Pat B Clifton Hall spin? Seem to recall it was but might be confusing it. Peter
  12. Hi Steve I wouldn't have remembered the track by name - real name or cover up. In fact I had to edit my post yesterday as I had originally asked for a sound clip and then found that single post on You Tube. I'm pretty certain that I only heard this at Cleethorpes (all dayers) and haven't heard it since. I think it was Sam who would have purchased it from Richard by that time. By all accounts it's a toughy and looks like your copy is in nice nick. Coincidentally, I started a thread about old memories the other night - mentioned the soul nites I used to run at the Eagle Hotel at Mablethorpe. Do you remember guesting for us on a few occasions? I hope you're keeping well. Good to hear from you buddy. Peter
  13. Just sneak this one in - absolute class. Najee - So Hard to Let Go (Janice Dempsey on vocals) Peter
  14. Interesting thread. I reckon it was after 1978 - only maybe by a year. Could be wrong though - it was a long time ago. Just checked it out on Youtube - remember it well.
  15. One from me this morning - had a few on my mind but plumped for this. Marc Sadane - One minute from Love Had a short shelf life early 80's. Peter
  16. They're both good Andy. I'll be boring and go with Willie Clayton - boring cos it's the fact that I know more about him which tips it. As you say you couldn't really put a fag paper between em. Great start to the day. Peter
  17. I wouldn't mince around mate - Smiffy's offered to do em for you. Just get the lad a drink and you'll be sorted.
