  1. Mablethorpe - sheeat! I grew up there - started my niter career from there with my old buddies - fecked off in my 20's. Who do you know there then Jordan? I'll tell yer if they're ok or not.
  2. Nowt wrong with that son. Good luck to yer.
  3. Hi Bob There are some older threads about this on here I think - worth a search. Interesting stuff though - and nice scans by the way. Peter
  4. Some coppers nicked us once after a car crash on the way home from Clifton Hall. Me and my mates were taken to hospital and the police literally dragged us from our hospital beds down to the local nick. Sat there being questioned in a heightened state of paranoia about all sorts of shit - including how much gear I'd consumed the night before and who i got it off .....................I told a right load of fibs! The car which collided with us was being driven by the Chief Constable of the force with his lady wife in the passenger seat. LOL
  5. Shit - I never knew that. Nice one Steve.
  6. Probably to our connoisseur ears Nev - but perhaps not our disco, pop and night clubbing friends.
  7. What do you mean "otherwise"?
  8. Each to their own Bazza. I'm sure he means well - the lying bastard! LOL
  9. It's a nice record for sure. Happy go lucky summer soul. Peter
  10. This is the thread I think Blue Sharks Started by Dec 23 2011 05:02 AM
  11. Hi Mate It was certainly the subject of a thread on here but not sure it was up for sale. There were some scans etc but think it was more of a discussion about the group. I could be wrong of course.
  12. Cheers for that Roburt - I've seen another article previously but not that one. Liked the bit about how the record was a platform for some local musicians and it was "placed locally". I guess they never knew - or would even understand at the time, how it would become so big over here in the early 80's. Thanks Peter
  13. Would make a great intro for a Blaxploitation movie.
  14. That's interesting Steve. Incidentally I would have thought that Hardest Part was an earlier record than How Can I Tell Here - soundwise I mean. Peter
  15. Wasn't Curtis (Anderson) HCILH a famous radio DJ too? Peter
