  1. Was gonna post up Spice by Larry Houston - out of the dirty box. Couldn't find a clip on tinternet and don't have the requisite skills to post on You Tube so it would have been rude not to have done this. Larry "Top Cat" Houston - Lets Spend Some Time Together. Loved this back in the day - still do, it's a great piece of mid tempo soul. Peter
  2. Hi M Thanks very much buddy. Just down loaded 59 and 60 and listening to 59 now. I'll report back when I've listened! Thanks for sharing. Peter

  7. Oops, might have read the original post wrongly - sorry. It's the rum. Peter
  8. Mentioned this on a radio show earlier Alan. I have this on the Turn You to Love album and think that is the version which used to get plays back in the day. But, there are other versions - I think there are at least two more but don't know the detail. Not much help is it - doh! I think one might be an accoustic take. Be interested to hear other answers. Peter
  9. Great record mate. Big record for Poke at Clifton Hall which is where I know it from. Popular prior to that period too I understand - but that was before my time. Seen a few Carnival bits about - lots appear to be a bit shabby. Hope you get one buddy. Peter
  10. Nice looking thing that. Something of beauty Dave! Sounds great too I should add. Peter
  11. Listened to the entire show now. Great stuff Sean and Tats - superb taste in soul music gentleman with a knowledge to match. I loved it from start to finish - not one record I didn't like and hard to single anything out. If you're into proper soul music get it downloaded and have a listen. Thanks Sean and Tats. Best Peter
