  1. That's a great choice Mike. You could get a thousand different suggestions - I guess it's what sort of dancers the happy couple are. Peter
  2. Probably a few people interested. You need to post a list in the Sales forum mate. Peter
  3. Nowt wrong with Star-tells record Mick. As we keep saying on tuther thread fantastic records don't have to cost a packet. Peter
  4. Hi John From memory it was the one with bongs that was mainly played back in the day. Big, big record at one point - loved it then and still like it now.; Peter
  5. It's a nice looking thing. And a great record. Peter
  6. bloody hell it must be cheap if the Aldi of record sales reckons it's cheap! Peter
  7. Jonathan was once referred to as Son of Sam I believe - so may well have been Sam saying that. Peter
  8. Nice one Chalks - and Bob of course. Great clapping - used to help make the hair on the back of my head stand up. And the other stuff of course. Peter
  9. Nice post Jocko. I love some of these vids showing tracks being recorded - it highlights all the skill and all of the different people involved. Thanks Peter
  10. Yep spot on Dave. Bought (tried to buy) the album for that track. It's a stunner. Peter
  11. A dead cheap un. I payed for the Paul Kelly Hooked, Hogtied & Collared album and received the Don't Burn Me album. Peter
  12. Sad news Roburt. Thanks for the information - you are very knowledgeable about lots of stuff. Sounds like Cecil and Linda really returned to their roots - quite poignant. Cheers Peter
  13. Hello Invisible All cool here buddy. Anything smoking at Sharmo Towers? Dunno what his problem is mate. His latest response is "no mate. just send that record back first , & i will go from there". Not exactly sure where he'll be going from or to but I just don't get it. All this fuss for a cheap album - I don't know why I bother! Nice
  14. Did it hurt him - or just make him madder and badder! I take my hat off to you anyway. Peter
  15. It's good knowing you Swifty - lots of memories from them days. I think I might have said before that Sham always used to call George the Wild Man of Borneo. It was oft stated in the pubs that George was in the new dentists chair and grabbed the dentist by the gonads and said "We're not going to hurt each other now are we". Probably urban myth but George could be a mad fecker. I was just a young kid back then and we all doffed our caps to big George! Peter
  16. Hi Pete I'm not doubting him when he says he sent the wrong record accidentally and I'm pretty sure that he had the one I received listed at the same price. I shall await his next move. Peter
  17. It's an odd one mate. Hope yer well my friend. Peter
  18. Is it me? This isn't a SS transaction. I bought an album very cheap with postage of four quid. When it arrived it wasn't the one I purchased - same artist different album. Flagged this with the seller and he apologises and says send it back. Being a pragmatic sort of chap I say it's hardly worth sending it back so don't worry I'll keep it. I'll have the right album too but knock me a quid off the postage for the inconvenience. He then says that I have to return it to prove that he has sent the wrong one. I say it doesn't matter, I've paid for it just relist the record I actually wanted and I'll pay for that - you get to sell two records what's the problem. But he's not having it he wants his record back to prove he made a mistake. Am I missing something? Peter
