  10. I like the mid tempo vibe to the record buddy - it is good. I think there may have been a thread on here a bit back about the record. There was certainly a discussion taking place about records being recorded by GI's who were posted in Germany - and I think there may some similar background to this - could be wrong. Peter
  11. Hi Dave No problem mate. I love lots about the record - but love the spoken intro. Curtis is so cool - he was a poet and musical genius and as you say sooo relevant to today. He was probably also the father of drum and bass! Peter
  12. This one Pete?
  13. Hi Pete Mm, Sam did play it didn't he. It's funny how we all like or dislike stuff. I've always thought that this is a super dance track. Peter

  15. Don't know much about who has got what of this record - although I ain't got one! But, this is one hell of a soul record - loved it back in the day and it still sounds fecking awesome when I bang it out at home today. I had this down as a Sir Dickie play - is that not correct? Peter
  16. Good Evening Mr Jason and Mr Kev I too concur - great record. So is Sonia Ross - great cross over. Probably £800? Peter
  17. Hi Sean Good to hear from you - hope you're well. Eric was a lovely lad - a big dancer like myself and the rest of our "team". I can't believe no else has replied - BUMP! I'm waiting patiently for my pressie - I know you're busy. All good things comes to those that wait. I send you my best Sir. Peter
  18. The wonderful Jerry Butler also performed with Curtis as a member of the Impressions. I think the group may well have been Jerry Butler and the Impressions to start with. Peter
  19. We used to knock around with loads of different people including some of the Lincoln crew. I met Eric in the picture via our association with Lincoln and we were friends. I haven't seen or heard from him in many, many years. Does anyone know what happened to Eric? The picture was taken at the After Dark All Niters at Cleethorpes and the girl in the picture is from Hull if my memory serves me right. She was also someone I was friendly with - she was very pretty too! Does anyone remember her? Peter
  20. Hiya Manus I hope you're well. It is indeed a top album with lots of powerful messages. The man was a poet. Peter
  21. I beg your pardon! Peter

  23. Hi Nick Bugger! I missed this. Is there anyway of being able to listen to it? Cheers Peter
