  1. It is a nice record Steve. I'm pretty sure it did have a release - it's just rare. Peter
  2. Poncy white fecking demo! What you want that for? Good evening Mr Swiftfullness. Peter
  3. No prize for you then Ian - not even a crunchie on a Friday! LOL Peter
  4. What about the Greg Perry It Takes Heart - where he sings the bit about "You can move a car". Not necessarily crazy - just crap! Couldn't think of anything else to rhyme. Great record though. Peter
  5. It's a very atmospheric and memorable record Mal. Always been an opinion splitter - I sit in the like camp. Peter
  6. Yep, that is interesting. The only reason I didn't buy that one is that I have most of it on other stuff - nothing to do with Kev. I might be a bit prejudiced against "stompers" lol! Anyway, it's a job well done and I shall enjoy them. Peter
  7. Just got round to ordering mine - bought em all bar one. The first person who can guess which one I didn't buy will get a prize! Peter
  8. Yep not bad thanks. Had a few days off work so back tomorrow. Gerri set the bar high - stunning original. Peter
  9. Hi Rich Hope yer well buddy. I think it was recorded in 1998 and organised by Ian Levine when he was doing his Strange World of Northern Soul project. Peter
  10. Yep, I was never a big patch fan - never had em on me bag or owt. Ah, well, another shit thread bites the dust! You got to try! Peter
  11. Just seen another sales thread for an original soul patch but didn't want to comment there. Seen a few sell recently so a few questions - apologies if it's been done. 1. Is there a sizeable market for them? 2. Do they make enough money for someone to be interested in "bootlegging" them? 3. Would it be possible to create patches that are credible "originals"? 4. Is this a crap thread? Peter LOL
  12. Never mind that Sir Massey Is it the fast one or the slow one? Peter
  13. Don't think so but could be wrong. it was the subject of a previous thread - It's a nice enough version - but no where near as good as Gerri. Peter
  14. She was a beautiful woman with a superb voice - so pretty. A desperately sad life that ended so tragically. I like lots of her stuff and used to spin this locally. Peter
  15. You do put some hours in Chalky! I'll have a listen at some point buddy - nice one and thanks. Peter
  16. How very dare you Richard! I have fir green, crushed velvet sort of curtains going on. My Eddie Foster boot would positively clash - it would look like a car crash. I'm off to find that record now to see what is stamped/etched in. What a sad and lonely furrow I plough - apart from you lot of course! Peter
  17. Bugger! I've been snipped by a bootlegger! Hope you're well Rob. I was showing my older brother - ex Disney comic collector, your drawings last night. He was very impressed and enjoyed his trip down memory lane. Peter
  18. Yep, I have a pink/reddish boot somewhere. Label has some creases in it from memory. Peter
  19. I like this idea Paul and will look out for the updates. Good luck with it and I hope you get a copy of what is one of my all time favourite 60's records. Peter
