  1. I get mixed up with stuff like this Pete. So, it's just a very limited run to produce a few copies which could be sold at gigs - is that right? Peter
  2. I belatedly concur - very nice indeed. Peter
  3. Apparently not! Peter
  4. Of course it does mate. Good lad. I'm gonna dig out Greg Perry in a minute and blast that out on me techinics! Peter
  5. Hi Gogs Nice set buddy. Worthy of more than one dancer! I'm sure many others apppreciated the records - they just hadn't found their dancing feet. Peter
  6. Hi Liam It's not for me matey. More of a bluesey/RnB type thing to my - admittedly deaf, ears! Peter
  7. That's a very good point Martin. Technically it's known as 'passing off' but let's say you're the Del Capris who sang "Hey Little Girl" and suddenly you're confronted with a legitimate release that credits you as the artist on a different song by a different group, then that would probably be a real pisser. That was probably Richard being cute with the cover-up name because of the similarity in the titles. Plus think about the poor buggers in the Construction too. They make one record and by a fluke of fate it goes big in the UK and then they find that they're gonna be known as Del Capris in future! In fact, even Discogs has 'em both listed as the same act which kinda underlines my point:- https://www.discogs.com/artist/Del+Capris,+The#t=Releases_Singles-EPs&q=&p=1 Bah! Talk about confusing. Who has the bloody time to spend unravelling this stuff.....? Ian D :hypo: Peter
  8. What a lovely post. Nice one Rich. Peter
  9. He's another one of those artists that was off my radar for years - due to my oft admitted, ridiculous "rare soul snobbery". What a voice! Peter
  10. He the king for sure. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CJInFz3Dqbo I think I saw Bobby do this on Jools Holland around Christmas time. Peter
  11. Thanks Steve Peter
  12. How do I do that? Do you mean the channel guide type thingy majig Steve? Peter

Nice record and looks like Pat has got one for you. Peter
  16. Grrrr!!!!! Someone else gave us the heads up on this the other nite so kept a tab open on my lap top to remind me. I didn't get back from work till twenty past nine and have therefore missed the first bit which has probably ruined the entire fecking show! :dash2: I can see a Plus 1 for nearly every all channel but not BBC 4! The bloody bastards are conspiring against me! I'm sure I can hear voices outside. BUGGER!!! Peter
  17. I liked bananarama I did. Never saw them at a niter though. Peter
  18. That is just so wrong Chalky! We took a young lad with us to Clifton Hall once and stopped at a road side cafe on the way back to Lincs. He ordered something fried with like a side of pea soup! We put him in the boot of the car for the rest of the journey home. He never asked to go again. Sorry off topic. Peter
  19. There were not many I knew and knocked around with in the 80's that would have even looked at a sausage bap - never mind tackled one. You must have been one of the few good boys! Peter
  20. I'm sorry to hear that Joe. Wasn't John posting on here up until very recently. Peter

Mm, just done a quick search which suggests £300. So, probably £200 in the world of Mr Smith. It's a nice record and the issue is definitely prettier. Peter

Great stuff Mats I hope you're well. Thanks for sharing. There's more than a little Anne Nesby in Bruni Pagan! Best Peter
