  7. Absolutely. Great dance record. Peter
  8. No problem mate. They do come up for sale although it's jumped in price quite a lot. I hope you find one. Peter
  9. Hi Dave Ah, yes, I think it was Richard now you mention it.
  10. I can't believe that this thread, a subject which we've done a few times over the years, albeit in different guises, can run for six fecking pages! That's not a dig at the thread starter. Anyway, I'm off to watch the wind blowing in my back garden - the paint dried last week. Peter
  11. Seem to recall there was one on in the sales forum on here recently. P
  12. Hi Sooty I would like one please. Thanks Petre
  13. Lovely record. Peter
  14. I've been buying some cracking soul records recently - just starting again really having pretty much sold up. I'm buying lots of cheap stuff - things that I personally rate as quality soul music. I'm not really that bothered at all if other people don't like them - I'm buying them for me as a bit of an interest. If anyone is struggling to sell any cheap, but quality 70's or crossover give me a shout! I might buy em. I should also mention I do buy 60's things that I like - but no white pop shit. Peter the Cheap
  15. I've started buying some stuff again - mostly cheap stuff. Peter
  16. PM'd yer Doc
  17. That's really helpful Marc. A better one! Peter
  18. Hi Grant Which Jimmy Hughes track did you buy the album for? Peter
  19. Hi Steve That's an excellent description mate - a snap shot of the times. Probably on sale at Clifton Hall - one of my favourite all niters ever. I got mine mail order from a small advert in Black Echoes I think - it was a while ago though. Mine is battered to fook - including a coffee/tea stained cover! Peter
  20. Proper Northern tune. In fact it's a storming northern tune. Innit. Peter
  21. Yep, that WVON LP is a corker in terms of what it has on it. Everyone of those tunes were massive in the early 80's - the content might well have been lifted from a Sir Dickie playlist at the time. (No association with said person intended). Obviously an illegitimate release and I think we've had at least one thread on here as to its origins. Peter
  22. Sir Bastrard! Peter
