  15. We all like different stuff don't we - be boring if we didn't. But, I have to say I can't stand this record - takes me back to the local disco when I was 15/16 and the DJ would say and now for some northern soul and play this. Then he would probably play another "northern soul" record such as this: https://youtu.be/MWY77AQnZ68 I hate them both. Peter
  16. https://youtu.be/-ceKmWak1F8
  17. How about two from one of his brothers Geoff. Come On Down and It Takes Heart. Come on down is a sublime soul record. Peter

Awesome double sider of soul for £10 - someone ought to buy it now. Peter
  20. US 45 is on Encore with a blue label.
  21. It's back to oft stated truism - plenty of absolutely brilliant soul music to purchase cheap isn't there Simon. There's been more than a few threads about it and its true - I never have bought into the philosophy of if it ain't super rare and or shed loads of cash it isn't any good. There's load of expensive shit records knocking round - some of them are that bad you'd struggle to use the term soul in the same breath. Peter
  22. I thought the thread was about soul stations? Peter
