  1. Afternoon Kev As you know I went out and bought one the same night - winging it back from the states as we speak. I might take the liberty of posting it up in the Record of the Day thread. Peter
  2. Absolutely. Sir Dickie is up there. Peter
  3. Someone must really like it - or need it. Peter
  4. Hi Paul Steve Jefferies has got one but it won't be cheap. Peter
  5. Hiya Yep as Steve said Smiffy will know all the info. What I do know is that they are three of the most awful records ever to have been played. Absolute rubbish. Peter
  6. Very beautiful birds are pheasants. Nice one Steve. Peter
  7. Hiya Melly Hope yer well. Sparrow Hawks are a top, top predator. Having one or a breeding pair around is a sign of a healthy bird population generally. They are nice to see like all birds but I sometimes have mixed feelings when they pick off my very tame collared doves which I have nurtured through the winter. Peter
  8. I can vouch for that. Peter
  9. I agree Steve. Although I have to admit to not knowing who the fcuk Pharrell Williams is. I've only ever seen his name on here. I presume he's some sort of X factor knobulike. Peter
  10. Great idea. As long as they're not dodgy rants.
  11. Sorry Mike Mine was an innocent attempt to lighten the mood - it was getting a bit contentious. Peter
  12. Of course you mean Forget To Remember! Great oldie Russ - hope you get one. Peter
  13. That Kev is stunning. New to me and I've just bagged one. Spent way over my very limited budget this month! Pedro
  14. What a thread this has turned out to be. Its thrown up some amazing soul records. Way to go guys and gals! Peter
  15. Nice on the white DJ. Peter And of course a cracking twofer.
  16. Yep, great shout Byrney. Which always reminds me of Gene Townsel. https://youtu.be/8nVnDTh7h_M Peter
  17. Bits in these two https://youtu.be/pT5Q559J990 https://youtu.be/73m0pVjD2XI
  18. The punk fetish was short lived Grant! Peter
  19. Common perhaps Steve - but beautiful non the less. I know you know that - just saying. Peter
  20. People certainly travelled distances and in numbers - whether they matched the Wigan numbers is up for debate. I think Clifton Hall regularly had over 800 in and I think Cleethorpes was equal to that. I'm sure some people will have a different recollection. I can never remember whether your M is for Mark or Mike or neither! Peter
  21. Only went a few times before it shut - Sir Dickie was in his absolute pomp. Awesome sets. Moved onto to Clifton Hall and Cleethorpes run by Crofty. Hit the spot for me - bang on. Peter
  22. Nowt new really. As my learned Smiffy has said - where was it? Might save other people from visiting. Peter
  23. Just leave it mate - no problem. Everyone now knows that 12 is six!
