I read a report a bit back which said that Magpie predation has very limited impact upon the population of other birds. There's quite a few knocking about at the fields and trees behind me and I have numerous other species doing very well. Peter

You've been around a bit Dave. I know Romania quite well as I do some work there in a small village called Cisnădioara which is near Sibiu in Transylvania. Easily one of the most beautiful places I've seen. Peter
