I've just had a text off Steve's sister saying that he died of a heart attack this pm. The family have a long presence on the scene, Etna, Phil, Steve and Jeanette. Most recently Steve has been enjoying several nights around Nottingham, saw him a few times at Alfreton last year. Steve was a great bloke, always good to pass a few moments with, distinctive dancer.

Sorting out quite a few sales and just realised my copy of this on Whittier Records is WR-204 with A side of Whittier Boulevard. Manship guide has this as WR 501 with a couple of label colour variations, with other side as The Midnight Feeling. Any info on this please, common , rare, authentic? Thanks Dean.

Lots of conversations at the moment about the unpredictability of prices. For example: Watching a couple of Jerry Ganey MGM Demos You Don't Love Me over last few weeks on eBay. One went for £30 one for £180. That in mind I realise the impossibility of accuracy here but anyone guess a fair set sale price for Nick Allen, hard way to go on Walas.
