    I've just had a text off Steve's sister saying that he died of a heart attack this pm. The family have a long presence on the scene, Etna, Phil, Steve and Jeanette. Most recently Steve has been enjoying several nights around Nottingham, saw him a few times at Alfreton last year. Steve was a great bloke, always good to pass a few moments with, distinctive dancer.

    Sorting out quite a few sales and just realised my copy of this on Whittier Records is WR-204 with A side of Whittier Boulevard. Manship guide has this as WR 501 with a couple of label colour variations, with other side as The Midnight Feeling. Any info on this please, common , rare, authentic? Thanks Dean.

    I think this is classed as related to sale / purchase, only intending to help, not connected to seller. Bobby Bland/Rockin' In The Same Old Boat stock/VG+/$20 has a much better flip that is worth playing 'Wouldn't you rather have me'.

    It's saved me more than £75 over the years. Do I take it that this edition has the colour photos of various boots / second issues / originals. Thought the 5th edition was most valuable for that detail.

    Yes, similar thoughts. What in some way came over as well executed marketing for the musical (although I did enjoy listening) was punctuated with that moment where Berry appeared to be genuinely thrown by the question.

    Funny reaction when asked - Are you a good husband!!!!!! thought the portrayal of 'We were all friends at Motown' when referring to Diana Ross was over-gloss , or does he believe that?

    Not sure whether to post here or in media, but the show hasn't aired yet. The next Desert Island Discs on Radio 4 will be Berry Gordy (I presume Jnr). I think this is the show that will be on Sunday 22 May 11.15 (repeated on Friday at 09.00 but also on iplayer after first broadcast) Not seen anywhere else on the site, apologies if common knowledge and already informed on here.     Lots of conversations at the moment about the unpredictability of prices. For example: Watching a couple of Jerry Ganey MGM Demos You Don't Love Me over last few weeks on eBay. One went for £30 one for £180. That in mind I realise the impossibility of accuracy here but anyone guess a fair set sale price for Nick Allen, hard way to go on Walas. Hope to have a spare coming my way, VG++. Thanks, Dean

    To conclude, philippenriou_0 has just paid (20 days)! If naming and shaming works on here I'm expecting some rich payback feedback! Just an added afterthought, noticed this on the ebay advice email: Reversals: Please be aware that your payment can still be reversed, (e.g. if it is subject to a chargeback), even after you have sent the item to your buyer. Complying with PayPal's Seller Protection and following the trading guidelines on our Security page helps to protect you from things like chargebacks. Ebay really does favour the buyer.

    I think that's what prompted my post Ian, just don't get it. I've just gone back onto my Sold ebay page to check and when i click on order details or print postage I get the following message; The following critical errors have occurred. ERROR - UNABLE_TO_GET_DATA_FROM_SERVICE I would happily put their names on here if I could get them.

    Sold and posted. Steadily gaining more interest, VG+ £80 plus £3 recorded delivery. Booming room-filler of a tune. Plays through loud and clear without fault.
