  1. I think this (west coast) promo is the same take as the issue.
  2. Think it's often played on this, obviously the term OVO doesn't come into it. Are there any vinyl copies of Brenda Holloway Lonely Boy out there? Love it on CD but never hear it out. Is there a "legit" way to play?
  3. emailed from work email address Chris, will check tomorrow to check for reply, can't access work email at home.

  10. Aintgotit seems sure it's Millie, similar to Pete, could it be a messed with Raymond Smith?
  11. Thanks Kris - keeping FS demo then i think (cleaner than my issue and if not much in it value wise not a lot to be gained). For some reason BM demo isn't as attractive to me as issue. Thanks for the advice.
  12. Doing a bit of a spring clean to buy others. What's a reasonable expected price for this, very clean label and vinyl, (good Ex all round). Contemplating whether to sell issue or promo, aware issue increased in value last couple of years but not sure how scarce/desired promo is? Similar question for The Real Barbara McNair Motown album if anyone can offer advice?
  13. Aware we've moved on but not been with my boxes for a couple of week. Really only echoing Sean in so much as this is the other side to Not You (which is the A?). I adore this ballad:
  14. The Sassy demo was on the wall in either Booths or Valances in Mansfield with a range of other boots for?? think it may have been £2 rather than £1.25 but am going back a while. Was under the impression for ages it was a boot simply based on that.
  15. From the response I'm thinking no point offering for sale !!!
  16. Is there any collectable market for items such as this? Record ok, credible version of He Aint Heavy, whilst not Northern, obviously (look at the label) Gospel laiden track (as is flip "Singing Songs About Jesus" - no really it is a little Gospel). But signed "God Will Bless You Cecil Washington". Try The Truth!!
  17. Underplayed oldie these days isn't it?
  18. You've got to smile at grading interpretation - "Looks VG-" , no it doesn't it looks like shite. I realise the label is only part of that grade but VERY GOOD minus
  19. A bit late to this but didn't want to post whilst live auction, I know it offends some: This M- finished a couple of days ago https://www.ebay.com/itm/140651050576?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 $335 dollars. Not sure of exchange but more than £200, about £220?
  20. Just to be sociable and contribute - what a voice
  21. Baby Come Home To Me, Shorty Long (? LP Only?)
  22. Jimmy Ruffin, 96 Tears.
  23. Again, this was once an expected sound to play: Edit, hopefully better pics. These Chains of Love. . . . and not forgetting Good things come to those who wait
