Couldn't agree more Brian, it's what keeps me going out. The early soul/RnB rooms are constantly coming up with the goods in this respect which makes the genre so exciting for me. If I couldn't hear something new I just wouldn't bother.

How about promoters offering free admission to, say, under 21s. Can't see there would be a great deal to lose in terms of profits except maybe for those who are City centre based. Worth a try?

I don't know you personally, and I'm not your 'enemy' but I can't help but feel that at times you have overreacted badly and responded to criticism in an manner that we are not used to seeing on this site. I therefore feel that as a consequence it is not just those who dislike your music that you have upset. I'm disappointed that you feel that your responses can be justified - a liitle humility is all it takes.

Personally no. DJs would have to be top drawer for a weekly event to work without being bogged down listening to same old, same old. Back in the 70's this was achievable.....not sure it's possible now.

Thoroughly enjoyed it but 30 mins far too short for the amount of footage that must exist. Would love to see all of it. Nice to see the Funk Bros remaining true to the original sound.
