  1. At least we've been spared Robert Elms.....................or have I spoken too soon
  2. With all due respect, why were you approached to do this when you appear to have such little knowledge about the subject?
  3. Couldn't agree more Brian, it's what keeps me going out. The early soul/RnB rooms are constantly coming up with the goods in this respect which makes the genre so exciting for me. If I couldn't hear something new I just wouldn't bother.
  4. How about promoters offering free admission to, say, under 21s. Can't see there would be a great deal to lose in terms of profits except maybe for those who are City centre based. Worth a try?

  9. Brilliant - will look forward to this! With regard to Central 1179 have been looking for one of these for quite some time but with little luck. Don't suppose you could help in tracking one down could you Keith ?
  10. Assuming 'played by' would add: Archie Hodge - I Really Want To See You Girl......Rod Dearlove first?
  11. Billy Wisdom - Handwriting on the wall
  12. I don't know you personally, and I'm not your 'enemy' but I can't help but feel that at times you have overreacted badly and responded to criticism in an manner that we are not used to seeing on this site. I therefore feel that as a consequence it is not just those who dislike your music that you have upset. I'm disappointed that you feel that your responses can be justified - a liitle humility is all it takes.
  13. Personally no. DJs would have to be top drawer for a weekly event to work without being bogged down listening to same old, same old. Back in the 70's this was achievable.....not sure it's possible now.
  14. .
  15. Do a lot of fine work for 'Charidee' as well..........whatever that is
  16. Thoroughly enjoyed it but 30 mins far too short for the amount of footage that must exist. Would love to see all of it. Nice to see the Funk Bros remaining true to the original sound.
  17. Guess you'll have to stop playing it out now
  18. Was that the one on Gemm? If so was surprised it stayed on there so long as it's hard to find. Think you'll like it Ezzie.
  19. Yeah - played it at The Shack and Pontins. In fact played it 3 times over the 2 days at Pontins due to requests. Seems to be a lot of interest in this one.
  20. Mmm - noticed the Ted Jarrett
  21. John Manships got one up for £100
  22. Thanks for that - not too difficult when you know how
  23. Mine is different again - Tried to add photo but can't work out how to do it - assistance appreciated
  24. Sam Moore was great - would love to hear him again.
