Are you sure Ady.? There's a train of thought at the moment among the audio world,that cd's offer a flat sound in regard to upper and lower limits,therefore a more clinical sound.Some young bands are even wanting to record onto vinyl to get a more authentic feel !!! Apparently vinyl offers a depth that cd's can't compete with.(which is something some of us would be able to relate to) Bring back 8 track recording.!!!

Suggestion - Events. All nighters,soul nights etc with seperate tabs.Click the tab,up comes a long list of venues in date order.With option to post up.Pretty much as it was before.Pin all events by date to prevent bumping. Events in long lists are more user friendly in my opinion.I dont want to go "hunting" for events,i'd like a quick over-all view. Can you go through the colour coding again Mike.?

If the postage is too high on ebay - leave it.Move on.Forget it.I do it.I also avoid sales from certain countries. As for customs charges,are'nt the USA sellers capable of declaring the record cheaper? Is it illegal to stick 5$ value on the ticket when the record is worth 10x's that?

Blue ones are boots? Wow,would have never thought it.I just accepted that red and blue were different plants,or maybe just a rush re-issue to meet local demand. Blue ones tend to crop up less than the red.One of my fave club tunes. ps,had a look an JM's.Rarer first release is blue according to website.............

Surely you're not suggesting the Soul scene,of 40 odd years ,is disrespectful.? Collecting records,playing them,venues all over the place,artists coming to England to perform.......folks paying their hard earnt going up and down the country.......

Been down this road before.A lot of the artists made no money at all at the time,because of lack of sales,or dodgy management.Or both.Covering records is about preserving anonimity for as long as possible,a dj's cutting edge if you like. By playing out,and owning these c/u's,tell me how that affects an artist 40 years on.? In many cases,the artists recordings would ahve been buried long ago,never to see light of day again.Its a bit of NS fun for us, and many artists have benefited from the digging and tracking down done by lots a guys out there,when their careers stalled all those year ago.
