  1. Its all about opinions and discussion.I rate this highly, couldn't care less whether if fetches big money or not.Been waiting for this to be played more often for years. Its just interesting that's all. One thing's for sure, it won't run to 2/3 pages like some records do.......
  2. I thought there was no definite proof which label came first.?
  3. Hi just posted this up in Soul Source record thread.Anyone got a price on it.? Ray and the Bel-aires - The blames on you - ARV....ex..... Thanks....Kev.
  4. Based on what Lee Fields made a few years back ( another mecca fave),my guess is £651.93p.
  5. Does the Golden Gate one turn up that often.? Down to Earth were common.
  6. Dot you start on me as well.
  7. Where's that unlike button. . Last go at this. 20 secs in for about 4 repeats on Bari Track - last 20 or so of G&T. After that i'm done.
  8. I don't hear it as that Pete.(i mean the last 20 seconds of G&T).....maybe its just me....
  9. . Maybe more Bari Track than Mike Terry? Soundalike ?
  10. Hi,i was reminded of George and Teddy - "Do what you wanna" on Phillips,by Kev Moore on Saturday (sold it him cheap ).HB Barnum on the credits. There's a sax break plus some interesting sax work very late on.Similar to Bari Track. Both '67 releases i think, can anyone hear the similarity ,in the sax especially after 1.40.?? Any connection with Mike Terry.?
  11. Only takes about 5 fat bald fkers to fill the floor anyway. And thats the not counting the men.
  12. With all the records that could be played ......
  13. You,? Strange stuff - not having that.
  14. We're not all Shreddie's Dave.
  15. There's more than one way to empty a floor. 1/ The crowd don't know the tunes. 2/ A predictable boring set. 3/ You're shit. 4/ Wrong type of tunes ie: 100mph oldies at an afternoon Modern session.
  16. sounds familiar.
  17. Sorry off topic Ady, Edit:
  18. You said does anyone play unknowns.Just throwing my bit in.Not arguing ya grumpy git.
  19. Got to be male vocal surely.? Aaron Neville demo.?
  20. Fully get what you're saying Chalky, but there's only a few who can pull out the true unknowns. Now if you're talking forgotten/lesser played, there's still some trying to plough a furrow. These tend to be dj's down the pecking order, who with nothing to lose, try to put their own stamp on proceedings. All is not lost yet.!!
  21. ,that's just what i was gonna say.!!
  22. One listed as 1036,the other as 2009.Both numbers are on the label.!!...? https://www.popsike.com/FRED-HUGHES-As-Long-As-Were-Together-60S-SOUL-PROMO-45-on-EXODUS-1036/190581829165.html
  23. £40? ,,,,,floor burner.!!!
  24. So if i've got this right, you're not keen on this record Dave.
