Some players of records(i was going to say dj's),play what they want ,up to a certain point(don't want the nite to be too self indulgent do we?). If certain sounds are spun by a nobody dj, doesn't cause too much of a ripple.But put that sound in a known dj's hands and suddenly you've got a dancefloor winner on your hands. who seriously thought the scene would last this long back in the 70's? credit due to everyone involved , keep going,.Nobody's denying we're gettin older, but what would we have done without the scene.STOP MOANIN' and live your life.i'm still as enthusiastic about Northern as i was back in the day. One last thing , without the "chinstrokers", we wouldn't have moved the scene on .we need them just like we need the "baggies crew".

it has died!!,both venues played crap at some stage.....it's just the Mecca broke new ground as well,whether we like it or not.

don't stop a cheap sound,no matter who plays it, from being quality. Quality always shines thru in the end regardless of price.

just thought it's a lot to pay,and yes i agree with your comments(apart from paying a grand for Timi Yuro,i'd never pay that ,and because people may be willing to pay that for, imo, an average sound,pushes the price up of others) Sorry i'm rambling but can't be a*sed to edit,,KEV.
