didn't realise anyone "known" was behind this. How can it be Northern?,well take a listen and you'll here tones/shades of many, including Curtis Mayfield tucked away on this record. good point Harry,We always setup the nite before in an empty room of course.In a small venue,the bodies have a big effect on the sound.So sometimes, as Mark B said ,a bit of "fiddling" goes on to acheive a better all round sound, for all in the room. Regarding stylii,change them on a regular basis(hours used). Don't forget tho',not all records are in tip top condition to start with,a better stylus will pick up everything. . DJ'S "FIDDLE" TOO!!! .

Hi Barry,here's my take on it. Buy what you personally like,pay what you consider YOUR price.If you get the chance to play 'em out ,good luck to yer. Oh,and you can collect without going out (armchair collectors).Some of these guys have the best collections. ps.,my dad's only 5' 3" .

Coming back from Corfu (i think) some years ago,was seated next to a guy,Fred Perry short hair.After the usual knods to each other,he says "Into Northern Mate?".
