Hi Ian,i always associate Contours "BHAR" with Johnny Williams " Just a little misunderstanding".Maybe someone at Tamla went thru the back catalog of CONTOURS, cos of JW getting plays, and re- discovered "Baby hit and run"?

Hi Phil,usually about a ton.Absolute stormer.Uk only as JM says,other sides in the club classic style,still very good. Again JM comes up trumps with his auction,how does he do it?.not saying what i paid tho' . Wonder if a Loadstone copy will ever turn up?,,KEV.

the original version of VAL PALMER -BACK IN MY ARMS AGAIN, came out on a "Top of the pops/soundalike type LP's in the mid 70's.Credited to a band,some name like Steve.?????.....band,name escapes me.Had this whilst it was played at WIGAN,same time as Beverly Bremers LP (get smart girl). Don't know who VP was .KEV.

,you're right as usual Ian.Mecca first,CC play. Spun this at The Attic few months back(inst),nearly had some wetting themselves,they'd not heard it out for sooo long.Top instrumental imo.,and cheap. just thought,the vocal side fits nicely in with the DRY WELL thread re:"psyche ".
