Of course they're only worth anything when you sell 'em,and you can only profit from that once. A few major collectors will benefit from sales,but the majority of us would just profit in the short term. No-ones mentioned how sentimental we are about our records. Selling up? Oops,seemed to have a caused a minor disagreement. What i meant was in hindsight, and after listening to Northern and RnB for a while,Mickie Champion sounds like an RnB style record to me. In the same vein as East Coast Connection isn't Northern,it's funk.I think. btw, i'm friends with both of you. .

Hi Richard,had this conversation many times about Mickie Champion. Was it the first big RnB number to be thought of as Northern Only?.Never heard anyone class it as Rnb,but that's what i hear. Rufus Wood to me,has funk overtones,but again fully acepted as Northern.
