  15. Someone at Prestatyn a few years back had a photo copied one,was this the same? The "dj" in question then explained to me that once it was on the decks no-one was the wiser....prick.
  16. Hi Richard. The black one for me.More upfront vocally, the silver one's vocals get buried in the instrumentation.Flip is collectable for "Lilith". Could play the instru on the back of the black one....properly recorded in the front of the mix...real deal Detroit instrumental.
  17. "2 known copies" - a reference to our small soul world. No harm in that statement, its bandied around every day,12 of this,25 of that. "Known" in our world. We'll be arguing next that nothings unknown...cos the artist, musicians, writers, etc knew it first ffs.
  18. Average record?....if it was a cheap record it would still be head and shoulders above most NS finds. The rarity makes it special. Like a lot of tunes discussed on here, they need to be heard at a nighter at full tilt,to be truly objective,as well as in the comfort of you own home. Some tunes take on a different perspective when the volume is cranked up. First heard this courtesy of a tape in the car on the way back from the 100 club 20 years ago. Then not long after heard it spun by Butch at same venue. Blew me away then, and has done since.Everytime i've heard it out.
  19. Anyone want to buy a kidney, one fairly careful owner.?
  20. Pretty true representation of the Mod scene, as started in the USA. .
  21. One of my faves atm - Brothers of Love - "My hearts in trouble".Produced by Mike Terry.(last played clip)....Kev.

  23. It is Swifty - but much better.Vocally more powerful. Also on the P-Vine LP ...along with Willie & Magnificents - "Hurts on me baby",another Moments track on Stang.
