  2. Fantastic art Pete."Shocked Thomas" is a classic.Damien Hirst eat your art out.
  3. A lot of them around back then?
  4. Pete S has already gone through his "Terrorism Art Phase",which i found very uplifting. His "Car (crash) Stairs piece caused interest from the Saatchi Bros.
  5. Haha!!.The old UK debate. Not getting drawn into it again....other than to say... would you be happy paying on the door to hear, for instance, all the Soul City releases that haven't seen a UK release before.IE:Micky Champion,Jades etc....and then Salt and Pepper ,Toni & Showmen,Rudy Love, etc..and the dj pass them off as originals?
  6. And the blue Tam-boo is "Cut you lose".Suppose the red one is?
  7. To be honest, the very fact he owned DILY,put pressure on him to play it and cost him quite a bit as well. The same could apply to any dj with truly rare pieces. They buy em for big bucks, but run the risk of someone playing them on a pressing/second issue/boot in a spot before them.Shouldn't really happen. Wouldn't like to think someone would stick Salt and Pepper on the decks on Kent,as Butch is sorting his spot out.
  8. Not sure if i've got the gist of your post Winnie. Are you saying if the local dj played W&Admerations on a boot before "Kenny",it improves his choice by the fact he won't now play it?
  9. Classics Joel.Add to that Prince George,James Fountain, and a few others.Funky stuff being played is nothing new,its just that some folks didn't know it was funky at the time..........
  10. And he "means that most sincerely folks"...
  11. Bamboo's,TSU Toranodoes.?
  12. Hi for sale Mar-go and Soul Trio - "There is no one" / "I had to go" on Soul World wdj. Slightly different layout to the one on JM's list, this one has the "world" on. Seems to be on the up,Chicago record with Southern feel. "I had to go" is a deep ballad.Whereas the "TINO" side is more a mid tempo dancer. EX condition.....£60.PM's please. Thanks Kev.
  13. Should have added "Blank canvasses" as a positive..
  14. Open minded, blank canvasses.Sometimes knowledge and history can be baggage that holds you back.
  15. Hey guys, dont bother going to The Louvre in Paris to see the Mona Lisa !!!!.Save yourself some money. I've got a print from Partners on the wall. You too can have one.Just £4.99.
  16. Lets not bother with original vinyl anymore.Buying it,selling it.Its laughable.
  17. Just googled KGF Bob,of course you are right. Its Danny Fernandez on vocals...all this time i was wrong.....
  18. I stand corrected. Its was my understanding this was true.Has Danny Hernandez denied he sang on "You haven't seen my love",Bob.?
  19. In which area of the country does this happen?.Your partner "threatened at a soul night "- maybe he struck a sore point."Hard time for saying didn't enjoy a soul night" - bit of a theme here.
  20. Quite right Steve.Just after Levine/Curtis broke em....
  21. Mikey,i think Tavares - "Heaven must be missing an angel",was played at the Mecca before release,or at least very early on import. All went tits up after "Whodunit!" though....
  22. Not sure. The Ones were about '67..JF earlier?.First latino group?
  23. Well KGF for starters have a lead singer with pedigree - Danny Hernandez,of The Ones (You haven't seen my love/Happy day).First latino's on Motown i believe.
  24. I'll have one at 250 Ste..
  25. Led you in nicely Mikey
