Where do tunes like Harvey Averne - "Never learned to dance" fit in.Funk? Disco?..fills the floor still all over the country.....booted etc.....not NS but has the balls played off it at NS venues.....

Meant dj for the promoter clever clogs. And if you get booked and becomes friends with the promoter (heaven forbid),just dont let anyone know he wants to book you again.In fact say NO,to save face.Fall out with him and start ww3.

I thought there were too many "dj's" on the scene.? If so ,how can the same ones keep being booked.? New blood?...according to this site,most either 1) haven't got the records or 2) play shite or, 3) never went to Wigan/Stafford - delete as neccessary. Last thing...who would dj for someone they didn't like?...

Yes got as much place as any other non NS genre.As with other genres, there's good and bad.If it's funky ,its got to be gritty with a NS feel,not too "disco".

The dj should stick to the remit of the venue.If they allow boots,cd's, mp3's,then you make your choice to play them or not.If its an OVO venue then its OVO.Integrity lies with the person,and situation in question. Not only the paying customers need to do their research.The promoters and dj's need to do it too.
