the Killer was discussed fairly recently but I can't find the thread. IIRC someone was saying they'd seen the Killer for circa £100 and I'd said I'd got one for last year (or the year before) for a tenner or so on ebay. Would imagine it would be £30 or so, but that's a guesstimate

saw him when he played the Barbican in London approx 3 years back with the MGs, he was absolutely awesome and played that mesmerising arrangement of Summertime (as recorded on one of his albums) which was pant wettingly brilliant..... there were other stax legends on the bill all doing the big "gotta gotta" memphis showman thing, but Booker T was far and away the best of the lot..... whether he plays old or new stuff I'm certain he'll be well worth seeing.
