  1. Mike I think the bit you've missed is this: In other words, he didn't bid anything at all, and so he didn't win it
  2. Thanks Andy, and I didn't mention Solid Hit Soul London on Saturday June 18th with special guest Keith Woon once
  3. flaming nora, well I missed a bargain there grrrr (and sorry for doubting your recollection Pete, but you did claim I'd paid you 100uk for John Andrews when it was 3 x ) Martin
  4. still is AFAIK though not sure I've seen demos listed so maybe a bit more??? Martin
  5. I agree, I think the Gloria version is great. Pete's copy was bought by Andy F if I recall, and Andy spins it out (and hopefully will be playing it at our next Soul in the City on June 1st- consider that an early request Mr Faulkner!) I'm pretty sure it was more than 100ukp though Pete????
  6. great record I'd be interested to know the going rate on this, great early femme R&B, if you like that sort of thing, and better than 'miss you so' IMO (I've already got one, just being curious!)
  7. right off the top of my head I'll pick: The Beau Brummels- Don't talk to strangers (UK Pye Int or US Autumn) in five minutes time I'd have picked a different one... oh... runner up The Escorts- Come on home baby (UK or US Fontana) better stop now before I get carried away....
  8. I've got a spotless M- demo I'd consider offers on, flip side is a lovely crossover dancer as well (Love made to order). Personally think it goes for more than £40 and Rach got a bargain, I think I'd definitely keep it for £40 Martin
  9. Final shout on these, I've added some mp3s of a few of the tracks by request. cheers Martin PS Billy- Betty went for 600, and I could have sold it half a dozen times over before I marked it as 'sold'
  10. thanks for all the responses so far, updated with sold items marked. Martin
  11. All US originals. Prices in UK sterling. Some major in-demanders in this short but sweet list so please read carefully. I am sending this to my e-mailing list first, and then posting it here and elsewhere. All reservations taken on a first come first served basis. (If you would like to be added to my e-mailing list, please PM or email me). I will consider offers on any of the records if you don't like the price, but obviously I will sell to the first person offering the full price in cash, and reserve the right to decline your offer. Payments welcomed by cheque or registered cash or paypal. I will have to charge 4% on top of paypal payments to cover their fees.P&P is extra at sensible cost- UK is £1.50 for one record sent recorded first class, £5 for special delivery.
