just finished reading all these ramblings - hey pompeysoul ! thers nothin wrong with t.rex ! ... sorry, anyway one great point was made by Chalky in that you can hear a record spun at a soul do that you havent heard before but was spun originally at wigan, stafford, wherever. i for one keep hearing 'new oldies' (does that sound right?) everytime i go somewhere. i have been on the scene 25 years too. i even remember ceratin djs at stafford trying to spin betty lloyd and ray agee as 1st time rounds! (although they were wigan spins). Pat Brady once had the Ad Libs 'Johnny My Bot c/up as 'Maybe Maybe' the Magnetics when it could at the time be found on the b-side of Boy fro NY City on Contempo. So there are lots of 'oldies' around that I havent heard but also some 'newies' being spun that 'ring a bell' somewhere. Grant

that herbie hunter 45 - you know i've never heard it yet seen it for sale hundreds of times. how does it compare to 'born to love you'? never been able to find a sound file for it either the royal premiers track janine is pure underplayed class! got mine for $3 on u.s ebay last year. grant

I only know of it on the D Roos & Supremes 25th Anniversary album which is available on vinyl and prob CD format. Pretty easy to pick up on the LP. It is quite a good track btw. Anyone know any other format? Hope this helps Carl Good Luck Grant

babyboy doubt you are being ignored. quite possible no-one knows the answer but i am sure someone out there will come up with the info for you eventually, thats part of what this site is all about - helping people with wants/sales , sharing views, etc.. just be patient. its not about how long you have been on the scene, i suppose there are certain cliques within the scene but just let them get on with it. i have had a look on manship, ebay and a few other sites but cannot foind any reference to the record for you. i will keep searchin, personally dont know the record myself. maybe a lot of the regular users/posters on soul-source are still receovering from thier weekend exploits. good luck grant
