Desperate want , Pat Powdrill Do It
sorry keo - one of the very few i've kept over the years and as i said i do play it fromtime to time.as jimmy says it is a tad fast for most punters these days, hated by many. glad to hear its big up in my homeland!! (always did have the best dancers up there!). think the £100 is a bit ott on price, seen it go on ebay for a lot cheaper on white demo, but who knows with todays silly inflated proces. still worth over a ton compared to many of todays so-called biggies. grant ps keo i will keepmy eyes and ears open fora copy for you.

Hayes Cotton - Black Wings
i had a copy with I'll Be Waiting on the flip-side. sold it to that guy who run Hyde Market , Manchester, record stall back in the early 90's as part of a collection that included stuff like Vince Apollo, Freddie Williams, The Victors (Hurt), Roy Hamilton RCA Issue), Bernie Williams (Focused on You), and many many more.....for £300 the lot - needed the cash! Agree with Damien - I'll Be Waiting is far superior. Grant

More Ebay problems
i often wonder why are so many records coming over form the states (particularly many i have purchased thru ebay) in such poor condition, scuffed to hell, surface noise, scratched etc. i thought most of these were underground sounds - so why the hell have they been played to death over there? were they bigger hits than we are led to belive or something??? 2 copies (albeit cheap) of l johnson 'if i never get to love you' big top that i have bought this year have both been in poor visual condition, play o.k but with a slight background noise - was thgis a popular jukebox item in the usa in the 60's or what? puzzled grant

DIY BOOTLEGS OF BOOTLEGS
LOOKIN THRU A RECORD 'COLLECTION' THE OTHER DAY I WAS AMAZED TO SEE SOME 45'S IN THERE THAT HAD DOWNLOADED OR SCANNED ORIGINAL LABELS STUCK OVER THE BOOT OR RE-ISSUE LABEL. CLOSE UP YOU COULD TELL IT WAS A SNIDE, BUT I WOULD IMAGINE ON THE DECKS TO MOST PEOPLE THEY WOULD HAVE LOOKED 'REAL'. IS THIS THE NEW DAWN OF 'BOOTLEGS OF BOOTLEGS'? ANYONE ELSE COME ACROSS THIS PISS-TAKE? GRANT
