Pure Radio Stockport - Northern Soul Show
My first show starts on Pure Radio Srtockport Sat 16th at 6 - 7pm on 107.8fm - not sure of the signal strength but pretty clear certainly around Stockport. My first show so may sound a bit nervous and the shows until Jan will be pre-recorded until I am trained up to go live, all in my own time and free of course!! Anyone in the area coming onto the show PM me - couple of soul-sourcers already pledged their wish to do a full hour of their stuff.

You Seen Rob Pheasants Website?
didnt you have a bob's band Pete? go on sell it to Mark p.s. why is it so hard to come by anyway, thought with being a theme tune and the fact that it is on Atco that it would be quite easy to locate?

Uncovering Cover-ups
The Lamont Cranston Band - top record and did come out on LP and the 45 was also available in a pic sleeve - rememeber when this fetched big bucks but relatively cheap these days. the most 60's sounding 70's record (apart from JC Messina - but that's another debate!!!! ) I've ever heard.

Where Did You Learn To Dance
Talkin of dancers, we thought we were in for a treat on Friday nite at Stockport Guild Hall when in strolled a guy in very baggy black trouser things tied around his waist and over a normal pair of what looked like white chinos or something. These pants looked akin to part of a ju-jitsu or kendo style warrior get-up. These were complimented by a white vest, many gold thoings around his neck and a very long black bandana! Having done all that martial art stuff in the past we all thought this guy is gonna do the business - not a jot! Very, very disappointing to say the least - one of the worst dancers in the place infact.....did turn a few heads though. Thankfully he did go and change before he went home and didnt walk the streets dressed like that . Oh and that mod fella was there too - the strange one that looks like this emoticon
