Ian, Personally I don't thimk you are that naive. I really believe that the stalwarts of the scene do care. This is a labour of love which deserves universal recognition. (Whenever that might come) As an historical archive it is beyond reproach, suely no one can argue with that.? Any individual who wishes to criticise these performances, by artists we all love and admire ,MUST have ulterior motives. Personalities totally aside you got it done, BIG time. History can be re wtitten but everyone can see what you achieved on DVD. Kudos. -

Can't speak for Miners Welfare but closures of Working Mens Clubs is certainly happening. The oldest in the country went bankrupt only a few weeks ago, and that was in a large city. https://www.coventrytelegraph.net/news/cove...92746-21474820/

Would have thought so as Motown is now a subsidary of Universal. Mr Gordy sold off the company to MCA in the late 80's (from memory.) But with all things copyright I guess it would depend on the individual contract. I'm no expert but I'm sure some one on here will confirm or deny.

Clockwork Orange is one of my fave films of the 70's. The film is actually true to the book. The author lived in Adderbury, a few miles from me, and taught at the local Grammar school, as it was then. A prophetic film in more ways than one, and his introduction of the 'street' language Nadsat was inspired. A remarkable novel and brilliantly transformed to the silver screen by Kubrick. Its getting late so soon be time for a spatchka.
