  1. this just sounds like an r&b record. nothing wrong with it but nothing different about it either. maybe the radio is different in england and you don't get hear music like this? I was surprised by the thread where people discovered the played out AOR oldie "too late to turn back now".
  2. in chicago stock copies of "batman" turn up. i have never seen a promo in chicago actually, most were imported to the UK.
  3. is that "Dynamics" record supposed to be the Commands maybe? If not, I don't know the record.
  4. it is the same group. neither comes up for sale often but neither is worth much.
  5. the copyright holder (not necessarily the artist) can have youtube take a clip down via DMCA. Here is the youtube complaint page: https://www.youtube.com/t/dmca_policy If an artist just asks you to take it down, that doesn't really mean anything.

  21. Rochelle and the Classmates was the female members of the Paramonts backing a white girl (they don't remember her name). The song was written by Bernice Williams (e.g. the lady who wrote the duke of earl). She didn't remember the Antoinettes at all. The Rochelle record was probably first.
  22. I found the racial element in the clip sort of offensive
  23. I thought it was pretty good, not amazing, but good.
  24. All loner / basement sounding soul music: https://www.djshadow.com/radio or more directly: https://www.djshadow.com/radio/show/1424 thanks, Bob
