  6. there's one in popsike that doesn't look like a promo and that's recent, but it says to see the other picture for the flip and popsike and collectors frenzy only stores one picture so you only see the a-side
  7. can anyone post a scan of this porgy williams voc / inst record? what is the catalog number? any chance of audio? thanks in advance.
  8. Hi. Can anyone tell me the flipside of Fantasy 631 "I'd cry every minute of the day"? thanks in advance.
  9. i asked in another thread about the excels on abtone (which is a new york studio) and nobody replied. maybe it's the same group?
  10. I have 3 cold t 45s, still need this one if you want to sell it. The lead singer William Hinton passed away last year sadly. This group later became beige.
  11. another option (although Pete's suggestion is easier) is to save the excel file as text and open up the text file and paste
  12. doesn't cody black have releases on this label?
  13. fyi, none of the magnetics were the soulful twins, it's just the same backing track
  14. thanks for putting the effort into this
  15. totally chicago
  16. people's choice on veroneeca is a chicago group, not related to the philly group. they are also the original breed on karol.
  17. i'm helping to edit the new edition, it's close! they still need to design the cover though.
  18. i think there is a report button on any ebay message
  19. dylan, i thought i sold you randolph walker on law-ton? i just won a cool stock copy i've never seen: https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170601178383&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT
  20. I'm sorry, but that is an ignorant comment. This is a legitimately licensed record. Is it better that some DJ paid too much for a record gets to have it as an exclusive or that the artist actually gets paid and the music gets spread around? Also, I honestly don't see the value being affected too much (often it increases due to exposure), in this case it's only the ego of a DJ suffering in order to get some real money and exposure to the people who made the music.
  21. philly international didn't even exist when "get out" was originally released
  22. also, part of my point is that you can clean a record without polishing it. the remaining effect of the polishing will be purely cosmetic. polishing doesn't really eliminate scratches at the bottom of the groove, it just makes them less visible. dobber, sorry if it sounds if i am personally attacking you, i know you are just trying to help. polished records are a pet peeve of mine. thanks.
  23. I am not going to polish my records, I am able to successfully clean them without polishing them. Polished records are immediately apparent as you can see dull scratches where deeper scratches used to be and it has a weird unnatural shine. Fidelity is also affected. I advise anyone against polishing their records and if you sell records that have been polished it's unethical to not disclose that fact.
