  1. thanks, they are similar sounding enough that I never listened closely (although they are clearly different recordings listening back to back). What is it about the first version that makes it crossover but the second not crossover? Thanks.
  2. that is ian who was selling in sales on here, must be mike noriega's copy i don't see the news though, there have been plenty of fairmount copies on ebay. another rouser one would be news.
  3. I think the symphonic four is worth more than 10 pounds, maybe $40-$60
  4. moerer had stock of the berganees at least up to a year ago that he was selling for $50 and the chosen few that he was selling for $125 (chosen few should be less on popsike though). Nothing really valuable except for the brothers by choice on new world, which has sold for a bunch of money a few times recently (check popsike).
  5. i like this a lot. the drums are awesome. what is the US label? the collectors frenzy was for a foreign label I think?

  7. isn't the maze record an identical recording to frankie beverly on gregar??
  8. i already told you this but awesome show
  9. thanks, it's a rare record from san diego, there are a couple lps and a few 45s on the label, this is an early thing. who's interested in it? northern people or sweet soul people? thanks.
  10. thanks as always for listening!
  11. gage and busch/bush are chicago. here is more info on the sandpipers (not related to the giant group). they are related to double image on amy though. https://www.spectropop.com/Sandpipers/index.htm
  12. sandpipers is from florida, it's the same (white) girl group as on tru-glo-town, very hard to find the otis busch is very hard and unknown, same song as the indemand david gage on hawk
  13. "pop sike prices" are usually less than prices here
  14. sorry I mixed up the dates, it is later. The record is from 1980 not 1981 though. the ix chains record also previously came out on a blue mainline label.
  15. manship told me he compared a supposed "original" with one of the "new" copies and they were identical
  16. it's the same group as on ix chains but this was earlier. most copies are VG and play badly because it's over 5 minutes long and pressed at a low volume.
  17. thanks so much I really appreciate it
  18. awesome, thanks andy!
  19. i see you have the playlist in the link but you should also post the playlist here to give people an idea as to what they would be looking for and entice people to go
  20. can anyone supply the abtone release number?
  21. no, but i know it's not patti hamilton
  22. this is clearly not patti hamilton and it makes no sense that a patti hamilton record would come off a fat fish tape or be a cover of an LA record
  23. it's just okay
  24. I don't know how he got on a texas label, but it's definitely the gary singer, maurice rogers from gary / east chicago also has writing credits.
  25. thanks in advance
