  1. actually it says this: Trade Or Sell -- Want 1 Record For Lot 150-00 quidder my choice--send 45s list via pm
  2. what's embarassing about that? do you like the harder, earlier stuff or the smoother 70s stuff? for example, what's your favorite donald byrd album?
  3. much harder to find on dolores (earlier label). dolores has a different flip. I like the flip of the pay press. They have one other 45 on pay.
  4. wish I had bid on the future 2000
  5. this isn't the same brownstone label as james brown
  6. this sounds like a very useful thing potentially, thanks for posting it
  7. Hi. Can anyone tell me the flip side title to Black Jack 671 - The Gaylettes - Heartaches I can't take? thanks in advance.
  8. it's the doowop market, 99% likely it's a boot and not legit
  9. booted for the doowop market. very hard to find, craig moerer actually had it fairly reasonable a couple of years ago (like $150 or $200), I should have bought it to upgrade my beat up copy but I didn't.
  10. thanks for the info!
  11. anyone can pay whatever they want for anything they want, and good for the seller that he found a buyer, nobody is saying that this is not obscure. People like plenty of records that I hate and I don't say anything. This record doesn't sound like a soul record to me though, it's so far out there, it's just rock. Maybe it's "northern soul" but I don't see how someone call call this soul and I don't think I'm out of place on a soul forum saying so. I'm not trying to put people down for fun.
  12. are you a big fan of that ted wilson record?
  13. I didn't want to say anything while the auction was up, but this doesn't even sound like soul to me
  14. I've heard Frankie Beverly doesn't really remember the butlers material when asked about it
  15. this is cool, thanks for posting it
  16. is this floating around at all on bootleg DVD / video or does anyone have it? I just searched iOffer and didn't find a copy. I would love to see this.
  17. it's not bad, it has an invictus / hot wax type of sound, it sounds like the honey cone. it's clearly is more commercial than the other side (which is also sort of too fast to be a hit). I really don't think they picked the wrong side to plug at least.
  18. can someone PLEASE post the other side to refosoul? maybe it would be a hit to me!
  19. so much better than the universal joint version in my opinion. awesome record.
  20. the shades of soul is a cover of a track that both the artistics and chilites do (better in my opinion), and they're cheaper records.
