It is Spring 117 - Equations - You make me feel so good / Boiling like water Can you post an updated version of the discography with the additions of the other posters? I can maybe fill in some more holes if I can see an updated version all together. p.s. your website is awesome

  6. I have no idea what info you would need to call customs, I'm in the US and have heard from US sellers before that lots of times when UK people have not received packages they were held up at customs. I doubt he intentionally waited 45 days to screw you. He can barely use a computer and definitely doesn't know about the 45 paypal chargeback policy. I'm not saying he didn't rip you off (he may well have), I'm just saying he's an idiot and too stupid to intentionally plan stalling you for 45 days.
  7. I bought a photo from him, it took a while to receive and I was annoyed at the expensive postage but I did get it and it was packed well. Hopefully your record does show up, have you tried calling customs?
  8. I'm sure it's a mistake. They did get the publishing company correct which was probably more important anyways. I don't understand the other poster's comment about it not being ascap, on all three records the publishing company is affiliated with ascap.
  9. he's one of many thrift people in chicago that buy storage lockers. he also got that maurci stock from a locker. most of the people compete over furniture, as that's the best way to make your money back.
  10. the people on american pickers and storage wars always think the shitty records they find are worth a million dollars. on storage wars they just print out the "value" decided on by the buyers, like if they find 100 garbage thrift store LPs and are like "these are $2 each!" they will print $200 on the screen, like they really made their money back. Yesterday I saw an episode of storage wars where this dude brought his LPs that he paid $650 to get to Record Surplus in California to value, and they told him they weren't worth anything, it was pretty funny. i know actual thrift guys who have been buying storage lockers for years (and good records do occasionally come out of those places). One guy told me that the shows totally ruined storage locker buying and the auctions are now filled with idiots who saw those shows and think they can get rich.
  11. thanks as always for listening. i'm doing another show today, will hopefully get it up within 48 hours. thanks.
  12. actually it says that it's a "genuine copy"!
  13. I doubt it. The clique record is a new york record from '85. Probably also not related, but there is another modern soul record by a georgia unique blend from '84 on the RWO label, it has a decent ballad side.
  14. I have 3 dukays photos but the first two are from 1961 from before nolan chance (charles davis) replaced gene chandler. The third is from 1964 and nolan chance isn't in it either, I guess he must have left by then.
  15. unique blend are from toledo, at least one of the members was in the creations on mel-o-dy. thanks ady, I assume it doesn't exist.
  16. in a bunch of eastbound discographies there is a 3rd unique blend title, on the same number 626 as "mommy and daddy": 626 - Unique Blend - Sorrow / Won't Be Needing Someone New - 1974 This doesn't actually exist does it? I'm guessing it came from the company files somehow. Thanks in advance for any insight.
  17. ok i see they simplified their fee schedule. here it is. basically if you do a personal transfer it's free if you send via paypal balance or bank account, otherwise you can determine who pays the fees. there are additional fees for cross-border transactions as noted. I agree with the above post that if you're dealing with people you don't know it's worth doing a regular transfer and paying the 3-4% to get buyer protection. If you are dealing with a friend you can avoid fees via paying from a paypal balance or withdrawal and sending as gift. Fees Our fees are now the same for all accounts - Personal, Premier, and Business. Please note that the Purchase rate applies to all payments using Request Money. PurchasePersonal TransferPayGet paidSend moneyReceive moneyFree1.9% to 2.9% + $0.30 USD  Free when the money comes from PayPal balance or bank account. 2.9% + $0.30 USDwhen the money comes from a debit or credit card or PayPal Credit (the sender decides who pays this fee). Additional fees  for cross border payments and currency conversion.
  18. I did it the other day and sent as "money owed" and it didn't charge me if it was withdrawn from my bank account (but did if it was a credit card). Seller incurred no fees. However, their fee schedule is so complicated and changes in different countries and when sending money across countries (I'm in the US) that I would look on their site to confirm.

  21. soul harmony singles also says '66 for the servicemen
  22. I think you could make up a story for either case, reissue or first issue, and nobody will know the truth since Sheppard is gone. Either way it's super rare and cool.
  23. Their biggest (and best?) record: For some reason though this is the one that gets played on Chicago radio now:
  24. thanks, I guess I am just slow
