  1. i'm using chrome and successfully added two things to my cart which still were there when i went to checkout. i didn't "check out" because I wasn't actually trying to buy anything though, so I can't tell you if the final step wouldn't work. I don't know if this helps you or makes it more difficult of an issue to reproduce and resolve!
  2. also, there are a few tracks that compare people's love to being a baby. e.g.: Flint Emeralds - Just like a baby https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qFaqHWiSONI and Helene Smith "Like a baby"
  3. masqueraders - a family
  4. also, maybe not exactly what you want, but the lovelites - how can I tell my mom and dad. also, the bitter and the sweet - i won't have any babies for you
  5. how about anna raye - will you love my child?
  6. This is a surprisingly hard request, especially given how many songs there are about relationships, marriage, mothers, etc. I haven't been able to think of one so far.
  7. for the record nick grades very conservatively
  8. but is that with or without benzos?
  9. nice playlist
  10. I can't comment on anything related to northern history, but I can say that group soul collectors knew about this record back in the day and it apparently some copies at least were available... I wasn't there, this is just what I know from talking to people. It's not like an unknown record that was recently discovered (or at least it was known outside the northern scene).
  11. https://www.popsike.com/php/detaildatar.php?itemnr=190462175301
  12. Thanks everyone. It probably doesn't exist but it would be hard to get some sort of final confirmation I guess. Thanks again.
  13. no problem, I just thought it was funny. sorry if i made you look bad, that wasn't really my intention. thanks.
  14. This was a big hit on double shot. This has to be a local press or a reissue or bootleg.
  15. Has anyone ever had / seen this record: 1814 – The Temprees – Mr Cool, That Ain’t Cool / Lovin’ You Is So Easy It's in the we produce discographies and I have all the numbers on the label but have never seen this one. I'm not sure it exists. Anyone? thanks, Bob
  16. is that like how I answered your message about the 13th amendment and then you never responded and deleted the thread?
  17. pete, maybe the policy has changed since your experience, but my experience with it is pretty recent and you can send "personal" payments with a credit card or bank account withdrawal. I never have any money in my paypal account and I've done it twice in the last week. It's also not called "gift" anymore.
  18. don't really have any answers, but the annie laurie track, while it sounds exactly the same, has different lyrics and it's called "nobody's going to hurt you". don't know if someone was ripping someone else off. Also don't know who Gwinny Witherspoon is but her voice sounds just like Annie Laurie's.
  19. haha. I had something similar happen to me recently ... chicago didn't experience a hurricane but we did have these weird intense storms that in my neighborhood even had golf ball size hail. i got a stack of packages and every single mailer was soaked through so that they were completely flexible. it had just happened that morning when the mail lady got caught in the rain, though, so I was able to take out all the records and dry them, i got lucky and none were damaged.
  20. Robb, I think the HBR / Liberty four gents are from Flint and are NOT the same group as on Encore. There used to be a webpage for the HBR group that gave group membership also (can't find it now but I do find another page talking about Frank from Flint): Frank Randall, Sherwood Pea, George Early, Ronald Cooley. There are also no common names between the Encore records and HBR / Liberty records. Do you have any evidence that they are the same group besides both being from Michigan? Thanks.
  21. Yes I have. Sorry I wasn't clear.
  22. I am in the USA and have sent money as "personal" (it's not called gift anymore) to people in the UK and Japan. There is an option to choose who pays the fees. The fees are higher if you use a credit card vs. bank account, but you can use a credit card.
  23. it's possible she did a personal payment (gift) but chose the seller to pay the fees
  24. another thing that happens with the internet is that it makes rare records available for sale as people specifically know to put those records up for auction. but other records that are just as rare might never come up for sale and take years to find just because dealers don't know to auction them. they might still change hands locally for cheap. so in a sense, it's not really making rare records less rare so much as making "known" rare records more available. I do agree that the internet has proven that some previously-though-to-be-rare records aren't as rare though. Just making the point that seeing something for sale a bunch of times doesn't prove that it's not rare.
