I have heard a version that has an intro to it and a version where the intro is not included in the track, I wanted to know if the single copy of the track has the intro or what version does. I don't really think I'm in a position to say too much about deejays, as I've only very recently started playing gigs. But what I will say is that I wholeheartedly agree with you. Personally, I really enjoy using the mic—I think it makes your set more personal and definitely helps create a better atmosphere. I've been to a lot of nights but have only played a handful of gigs. A few of those were just records played back-to-back with barely any talking in between. In my opinion, if you're going to do that, you might as well just plug in your phone and play a playlist.

Owl's Effort is really great to read through, In this specific one he is talking about his trip to America and digging for records in New York, Even though the record market is the way it is now, I like to look at the price difference from then to Current, Most Notably he states you can get a copy of "Delegates of Soul-I'll come running back" easily for a tenner!

Came across these in a record store the other day and thought they were really cool. As a young soulie I have never seen these before so loved this physical zine someone had made who is as obsessed as me about record and the music.
